- Sinnis ST 125
Hey guys!! As the title states I have a Sinnis ST 125 I’ve had a little gander around the site and have yet to find a subject with anyone talking about one? Are these uncommon bikes? I’m 20 years old live in South Wales and am expecting my first child in 9 weeks. Anyway enough about me and on to the bike, it’s my 3rd bike I bought it brand new 3 months ago and have just hit the 4000 mile marker. She hasn’t had plain sailing though it’s had a new tank and lock set as the cap and tank where creating a seal and causing a vacume stoping the petrol flow and bike from obviously starting. I have also had my chain and sprockets changed as my (standard) elastic band chain snapped on me last week. It’s been changed out for a heavy duty o-ring chain for durability. Not a cheap change with garage recovery and all the parts the bill come to £123.78 but in my opinion it will last 10/15 thousand miles. It’s not a bad bike not very appealing to the eye with a 40 litre top box on the back but I need it for work I guess. Future mods are going to be a hawk alarm, led hand guards and a Scott oiler maybe also heated grips.
Anyway guys it’s nice to join the Sinnis community
Hi, share your need for big topbox, (fitted to apache 250), liking for led handguards, to get you noticed, got mine off ebay earlier in year, about £30, easy fit into ends of hollow handlebars, re oiler if you want to save a few quid, I found on ebay one which is basically a reservoir with a push button on top to open valve and let oil into the delivery tube, so when you need to lube you just push down for 10 seconds or so, let delivery tube fill with oil, which then trickles down and is delivered to sprocket by cable tie – doesn’t have the fine capillary tube at end like scottoiler so oil you’ve let in to clear tubing drips out over few miles- works for me and easy to fit. I ve found handguards great for keeping worst of weather off so gloves don’t get so saturated and leak (every pair ive had has started to leak after year or so, TUZO winter gloves have been best for protection and weather proof valu) ive never bitten bullet for heated grips, wouldn’t want to drain battery and be stranded at work.
correct me if im wrong but isnt the sinnis st the same as the sinnis stealth 125?
There is mine without the top box on, I work at McDonald’s so need to carry my uniform work shoes etc. Then once I’m at work my Oxford rIn seal comes off and goes in along with my boots and my helmet.
Sinnis ST is different to the Stealth.

Hi JACKMCCORMACK1994 what part of South Wales are you from? We have rideouts throughout the year from the Swansea/Llanelli area if you’re interested in meeting fellow bikers.
I live in ammanford, but travel to Swansea everday for work. It would be nice to join you guys for rideouts some time
There’s a rideout on the 15th for ‘Children In Need’. The ride leaves McDonalds on J47 and heads through Pontarddulais, up to Ammanford to Brynamamn then over the ‘Blacks’ and onto ‘The Owls Nest’. From there some are thinking of going down Pembroke way. Here’s the Facebook listing…. https://www.facebook.com/events/1537021623208390/
Haha well that’s intresting…. I work at McDonald’s J47 6 days a week
That rideout for children in need was a total waste of time. A grand total of ME showed up at McD’s. So I thought “Screw you guys I’m going home!” :) Hopefully more showed up in Ammanford.
Hope you grabbed a big mac beforehand Shonie!
Maybe we could arrange a sinnis forum rideout some time…. if you can take some time out of your “busy schedule” incheye… lol
i think it would turn some heads to see a group of sinnis’s going down the road! Hey, if anthony can go to mongolia than we can go to brighton or somewhere haha!
Sorry I didn’t turn up was on nights that night and it completey slipped my mind. Got my alarm all fitted and working, upgraded my battery from the standard 5amp to 7amp and fitted my phone charger properly with a relay. Going to give it a good wash tomorrow. Then fit my LED hand guards once they arrive. I’d be well up for a trek down to Brighton or something, I done it to surrey on my old XT 125 to my brothers house for a week and back 8 hours their 6 and half back
Hi if you are doing a run to brighton might be able to meet up, down from Essex, although parts of M25 could be worse than Mongolia?, to make enjoyable could wait for spring. 8 hours there reminds me of Leeds (uni) to home in Essex, on H100 Honda, first time 10 hours including a bit of side tracking as couldn’t go on A1M and M11…. that was pre M25, later got down to 4 1/2 hours regular on CB125T.
parts of M25 could be worse than Mongolia?
I laughed heartily at that
Yes, and maybe a spring/summer next year meetup would be best, Manchester weather at least at the moment is like the hellmouth itself has opened up and swallowed us.
